Human behavior and emergency management training on passenger ships is designed to provide course participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage a crisis or emergency on board a passenger ship. This covers the mandatory competencies and the required knowledge, understanding and competencies specified in the STCW Code.

This training is necessary and complements the knowledge necessary to attend to the safety of passengers.
