Description

This is the minimum standards of competence in RATING AS ABLE SEAFARER DECK, a trainee will be competent to take appropriate measures for the safety of personnel and of the ship and to use fire appliances correctly and support level. The trainee will also have a knowledge of RATING AS ABLE SEAFARER DECK.

Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), 1978, as amended.
